Romantic vibes & luxury design

The Laguna is a hidden oasis that feels far away from Bali’s maddening pace. Barefoot luxury, combined with traditional Balinese architecture, set in tropical grounds, creates an elegant backdrop to the resort’s welcoming hospitality.

What to pack? Floaty resort wear by day, and something a little sexier for candlelit dinners and cocktails under the stars.

Travel Tips for a romantic Bali getaway

  • Visit during the low season from November to March for fewer tourists and more privacy. Plus, the airfares and rates will be cheaper, giving you more opportunities to splurge on your lover.
  • If visiting during the wet and low season, book a front row seat at Arwana or Kulkul Beach House as the dramatic tropical storms roll in.
  • The Laguna falls under the Marriott Bonvoy brand so it’s worth joining for the points and perks.

The Laguna’s lush grounds

Things to do in Nusa Dua for couples:

  • Relax on the long stretch of beach at Mengiat Beach (Nusa Dua Beach) where the calm water is ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
  • See the famous Nusa Dua Water Blow on Peninsula Island where the water crashing through a hole in the volcanic rock surges for 30 metres in the air. Hot tip: there is an entry fee and its only worth going at high tide.
